Each practitioner sets their own fees, payable by cash or personal cheque at the end of each session. A receipt will be provided. Many extended health plans will cover psychological services, and your receipt can be submitted for reimbursement. Fees for psychological services (counselling, psychotherapy, assessment and consultations) are set within the guidelines of the Ontario Psychological Association, 731 Yonge Street, Suite 221, Toronto, Ontario, M4Y 2B7 (1-416-961-5552).

In some cases, the insurance company may be billed directly (e.g., Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance, Blue Cross for Armed Forces clients). In such cases, the terms and conditions will be arranged at the initiation of treatment.

Cancellation Policy
Most of our practitioners request that you give 24 hours advance notice, including weekend days (e.g., A Monday appointment cancellation should be arranged on Friday when possible, or if not, a voice mail message on Sunday). Leave information about your availability for rescheduling at the time of cancelling so that a new appointment time can be set. Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations will result in a missed appointment charge.

Scheduling/Telephone Messages
Appointments may be scheduled directly with your practitioner, or by leaving a telephone message. A telephone message (or email message) should include your name, telephone number, and best times for appointments. We will respond to your message in a timely fashion.
